- Looking at that survey from the other direction - this means that a majority actually oppose further arming.
Either way - the UK papers have announced "600 more SFOs" (Special Firearms Officers).

- And the numbers involved seems to be in question - with the Police Federation Chairman reporting 1,500 extra officer recruits.
** This suggests the same "political scam" as is used here - of claiming a solution by announcing a future incremental improvement long before it becomes reality.
